Matthew
13: 3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower
went forth to sow;
4
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and
devoured them up:
5
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they
sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they
withered away.
7
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold,
some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The
word of our GOD is great! A powerful seed that is sown in faith. The seed of the Word can grow anywhere, stony places, among thorns, but
it cannot produce fruit until it finds good ground. We hear the word of GOD
preached and it is taught to us every service.
That is GOD’s way of sowing
the seed.....but it is our responsibility to prepare the ground IF we
want to see the fruit to grow in our lives.
We know if we plant any kind of seed here in the natural that we
must first prepare the ground, you break-up the ground where you plan on
planting anything. You remove any rocks, old roots of weeds and grass and you
may add some natural nutrients to maximum growing potential. We do that spiritually by praying, fasting, reading separating
ourselves from the world, and most of all by just doing what the word of GOD
tells us to do!
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not
hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
So
tend to your own garden, and do not worry about your neighbors, that your fruit
may grow......some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold so you may be
able to share the good fruit out of your garden with others.
May
the LORD richly bless you!!
